Enriched Communities

When our communities are strong, so are we.

Our work and our people are intricately connected to our communities.

So, it just makes sense to invest in and improve them. To strengthen communities, we’re focusing on supporting agricultural advocacy, food security, and healthful children—which are all integral to community resilience.

Community Investments

In 2019, we achieved our target: invest 4 percent of our profits back into our communities, up from 2 percent in 2017.

In 2019, we were awarded the 2019 Outstanding Philanthropy Award from The Association for Fundraising Professionals.

We’re working hard to build a culture where we genuinely care for each other, do right by our customers and community and work together. When our internal values meet community needs, incredible things happen.”

Investing in the places we call home.

Oregon Food Bank

Through our longstanding partnership with the Oregon Food Bank, we donate large volumes of dairy products each year throughout the county. We’ve also invested in one full-time position dedicated to understanding the root causes of hunger in Tillamook County and a delivery truck to deliver food to pantries throughout Tillamook County.

Youth in Agriculture

We’re providing scholarships for students studying agriculture, and through employee support of 4-H Clubs and Future Farmers of America, we’ve raised funds and created awareness for these organizations.

Boardman Community Support

In Boardman, OR, home to our second cheesemaking facility, we’re investing in the local community. From repairing the local greenway to funding new classroom chairs for students with disabilities to distributing brand new winter coats to kids in need, Boardman isn’t just where we work, it’s also our home.

Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington

Working with the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington and the Oregon Dairy and Nutrition Council, we developed the "Dairy Patch Program" to educate girls about science, tech, engineering and math concepts, farms and food production, and the dairy industry.

Heart and hands.

Today you can find Tillamook products in more places than ever, being enjoyed by more people than ever.

As we grow, our commitment to Stewardship grows stronger, with our values as our guide. Today. Tomorrow. Always.
